Since I Have Diligently Hastened the Time and Received It,
Live Together and Act Diligently.*
* According to the Word Dept, this title means this: “Seonsaengnim has received God’s time by diligently hastening time and doing the work that was needed. You also should live together and diligently take action.”
Scripture:
<Scripture for This Time Period> “Small opportunities come every day, so you must seize them every day. Only then will you also seize great opportunities.”
<Romans 12:11> “Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord.”
<Proverbs 13:4> “A sluggard’s appetite is never filled, but the desires of the diligent are fully satisfied.”
<Proverbs 10:4> “Lazy hands make for poverty, but diligent hands bring wealth.”
Hallelujah!
Today, I will speak on the topic,
“Since I diligently hastened the time and received it,
live together and act diligently.”
I bless that through this message, all of you will diligently act in accordance with the Will for this time period.
Before beginning the message, I will read today’s Scripture for This Time Period once again.
“Small opportunities come every day, so you must seize them every day. Only then will you also seize the great opportunities.” Amen.
◎ Small opportunities come every day. You must seize them all.
Seizing opportunities must become your way of life and second nature. Only then will you also seize the great opportunities when they come.
◯ If you do just a little more, both small and large problems will be resolved.
You must act for them to be resolved.
God has already done everything.
You must act in advance.
Even if things did not turn out as expected because of tribulation and difficulties, we, too, must act without becoming discouraged.
Taking action is the only answer.
Your [life] is Jesus’ life and Seonsaeng’s life.
If you are discouraged, God and the Holy Spirit, who helped you, and Seonsaeng will be upset.
◯ Opportunities that come as thoughts in daily life flash through your mind for an instant and then pass.
Sometimes they seem insignificant, but through them, greater things gradually come later.
Only when you see, experience, and undergo things yourself do you finally understand.
Therefore, God and the Holy Spirit let you experience things in order to help you.
◯ In the past and even now, I, Seonsaeng, also understand what everyone else experiences by me experiencing things myself.
People are mirrors. Therefore, [through them] you see, realize, and share [what you realize].
You, too, are mirrors for me, Seonsaeng.
◯ Only if you act diligently will you experience many things and gain understanding. So, when an opportunity comes, you will act first, right away.
If you act first, you gain first.
In Providence, I, Seonsaeng, experience and realize things first, then convey them so that everyone can act first.
It is to listen to the Word and act quickly.
Only then will you gain quickly.
◎ Whether it is something in creation or any kind of gift, if something intended for a particular person is made too obvious, someone else will recognize its form and appearance and take it.
Therefore, God arranges it appropriately, and when its [intended] owner appears, He opens the eyes of that person’s heart to realize it so that the [intended] owner buys it, finds it, or takes possession of it.
Things in creation also have their intended owners.
◯ The mission of a time period also has its intended owner.
The owner has the same time period and story.
Therefore, because that person is suitable, God uses that person and governs through him.
◯ When you read the Bible, you find things spoken in the old time period concerning the new time period.
In the new time period, the owner to whom those words apply comes, recognizes that the words concern him, and, as their owner, leads everyone in that time period to put them into practice.
Therefore, God uses that person as a Man of Mission for salvation in that time period in various ways.
◯ Jesus, too, read the writings of the prophet Isaiah in the Old Testament
and recognized that their contents were concerning Him.
He said, “This passage speaks of Me, Jesus, and has been fulfilled in your hearing.”
(Luke 4:16–21) “He went to Nazareth, where he had been brought up, and on the Sabbath day he went into the synagogue, as was his custom. He stood up to read, and the scroll of the prophet Isaiah was handed to him. Unrolling it, he found the place where it is written: ‘The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor.’ Then he rolled up the scroll, gave it back to the attendant and sat down. The eyes of everyone in the synagogue were fastened on him. He began by saying to them, ‘Today this scripture is fulfilled in your hearing.’”
Jesus always knew and was certain that the prophecies in the Old Testament were concerning Him. Therefore, when He spoke, He cited passages from the Old Testament. Indeed, the prophecies and promises spoken through Moses and the prophets in the Old Testament were words concerning Jesus.
(Luke 24:27) “And beginning with Moses and all the Prophets, he explained to them what was said in all the Scriptures concerning himself.”
▶ Reference Scriptures: Luke 24:44–48; John 5:39; John 5:46; and others.
◯ I, Seonsaeng, also read the Bible and acted after clearly realizing that these were prophetic words I had to fulfill. Looking back fifty years later, others did not do it because they did not know. If someone else had known at that time and done all the work, while I, Seonsaeng, had not, it would have been a serious problem.
History has its appointed time. Just as whoever is present must put out a fire when it breaks out, whoever knows at that time must act.
In Providence, too, everyone must do they work they must do.
◯ This time period is the time when God fulfills the promises Jesus made in the New Testament. Jesus comes again and explains the Bible and all kinds of things.
God, the Holy Spirit, the Holy Son, and Jesus come as the Bridegroom
and hold the wedding feast for a thousand years.
The words, “I will come on the clouds. At that time, I will resurrect the dead.
I will take them to heaven. Therefore, wait until the end,” have been fulfilled in this time period by God working with Jesus through Seonsaeng.
▶ Reference Scriptures: John 14:2–3; Acts 1:11; John 5:28–29; Matthew 24:30; 1 Thessalonians 4:16–17; Matthew 24:13; Hebrews 10:36–37; and others.
Only when you properly hear and learn this Word will you understand that all the prophecies of the Bible have been fulfilled.
◯ Whether it is an object or the Word, God gives it to its owner of the new time period, because only then can that person act together with God and fulfill the purpose of creation.
Then the recipient acts for God’s will together with those who follow.
That person recognizes what they have received as something belonging to God, entrusts it to Him, and uses it.
◯ Jesus also read Isaiah 11:1 and the verses that follow and already knew that these words concerned Him.
(Isaiah 11:1–9) “A shoot will come up from the stump of Jesse; from his roots a Branch will bear fruit. The Spirit of the LORD will rest on him— the Spirit of wisdom and of understanding, the Spirit of counsel and of might, the Spirit of the knowledge and fear of the LORD— and he will delight in the fear of the LORD. He will not judge by what he sees with his eyes, or decide by what he hears with his ears; but with righteousness he will judge the needy, with justice he will give decisions for the poor of the earth. He will strike the earth with the rod of his mouth; with the breath of his lips he will slay the wicked. Righteousness will be his belt and faithfulness the sash around his waist. The wolf will live with the lamb, the leopard will lie down with the goat, the calf and the lion and the yearling together; and a little child will lead them.
The cow will feed with the bear, their young will lie down together, and the lion will eat straw like the ox. The infant will play near the cobra’s den, and the young child will put its hand into the viper’s nest. They will neither harm nor destroy on all my holy mountain, for the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the LORD
as the waters cover the sea.”
Jesus realized that these were words God had spoken to him and became their owner.
However, those who followed the Law disbelieved it and thus could not fulfill these words; only the people of the new time period who followed him fulfilled them.
◯ It has been the same in this time period.
In the New Testament, Jesus said, “I will come again and explain the Bible. I will come as the Bridegroom and hold the wedding feast.”
(Revelation 19:7) “Let us rejoice and be glad and give him glory! For the wedding of the Lamb has come, and his bride has made herself ready.”
(Revelation 19:15–16) “Coming out of his mouth is a sharp sword with which to strike down the nations. ‘He will rule them with an iron scepter.’ He treads the winepress of the fury of the wrath of God Almighty. On his robe and on his thigh he has this name written: KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS.”
(Revelation 22:16–17) “I, Jesus, have sent my angel to give you this testimony for the churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, and the bright Morning Star.”
“The Spirit and the bride say, ‘Come!’ And let the one who hears say, ‘Come!’ Let the one who is thirsty come; and let the one who wishes take the free gift of the water of life.”
The Man of Mission for this time period also knows that those words were spoken regarding him.
◯ Just as Jesus was born from the line of Jesse, the owner of this time period comes from the line of faith in Jesus.
The spirit of Jesus comes upon him, and he carries out the work.
The one who comes is the Man of Mission. So, he knows because God sends him and speaks to him, and the spirit of Jesus, who has come again, speaks to him.
◯ The wedding feast is held for a thousand years in this very history.
It is the history that fulfills God’s purpose of creation.
It is a life of loving God absolutely, attending Him, serving Him, and living as His counterpart of love.
This history is carried out by the chosen people of this time period centered on the one who comes— the person with a physical body whom Jesus uses and through whom He acts.
◯ Jesus also knew that Moses’ words, “Someone like me will come,”
concerned Him, and He taught and proclaimed this.
When the key figure reads the Bible and puts it into practice,
he comes to know that he is the one it concerns.
It was said that someone like Moses would come when the time arrived.
But Moses came only in spirit, and the person Moses had actually spoken of was Jesus. Jesus Himself knew this and said so.
Only that Man of Mission knows because he does that work.
▶ Reference Scriptures: Deuteronomy 18:15; John 5:46; Matthew 17:1–3.
◯ It was also said that Elijah would come again. And in the new time period, a new person, John the Baptist, came with Elijah’s mission and shimjeong.
The one who comes does so with the mission and shimjeong of the one who was said to come.
In the New Testament time period, Elijah came only in spirit, and the physical body was John the Baptist. This was explained by Jesus.
▶ References Scriptures: Malachi 4:5; Matthew 11:12–14; Matthew 17:12–13; Luke 1:17; and others.
◯ Likewise, God said that He would come. And since God is spirit, He came only in spirit and worked through Jesus’ physical body.
Jesus carried out the work with the spirit of God’s shimjeong and mission upon Him.
In this time period, too, Jesus comes only in spirit,
and the one He has sent carries out the work with His shimjeong and mission.
◯ An activist for a nation’s independence, too, always carries out their work with the thoughts of heroic patriots who died long ago, and with their shimjeong and mission.
In families, too, children live while working hard with their parents’ shimjeong and mission.
In this way, the one who was said to come comes only in spirit, and a person of that time period carries out the work with that mission and shimjeong. This is biblical history.
That person acts knowing who they [themselves] are.
You can truly know who that person is only by putting those words into practice yourself.
◎ When God answers, He answers according to the circumstances in which each person asked.
To properly understand Jesus’ words in the Bible, too, you must understand what question He was answering and the circumstances in which He spoke.
Only then can you properly understand those words.
◯ Sometimes, regarding the very same matter, Jesus said to one person, ‘Do it,’ and to another, ‘Do not do it.’
Only Jesus and the person concerned know why He said this.
It was because each person’s heart was different.
◯ God always speaks in accordance with reason.
Deep faith means properly understanding His words and properly acting on them, while liking God, loving Him, and living with gratitude.
◯ There is something so wonderful about living a life of faith.
It is so wonderful to repent of your sins and become clean.
Such a person has removed the burden of sin.
Sin makes the spirit sick and causes it to die.
Therefore, when you sin, God makes you suffer so that you will realize it.
If you still do not repent, He judges you.
◯ A chick was born a pheasant chick from the beginning.
If you capture it and try to raise it as a domestic chicken, it is difficult for both the chick and the one raising it.
The same is true of religious people and everyone else.
You must be born again.
You must be born anew as a life belonging to heaven.
It is to be grafted into the true vine.
◯ Those who leave God’s dominion are like livestock that have gone into the wilderness or the mountains. Even if no one makes them suffer, they suffer because of their surroundings.
Their soul and spirit suffer because they live in death.
Their physical bodies also live in the realm of death, so they suffer under the control of Satan, devils, and evil spirits.
The suffering of the heart is the suffering of hell.
Heaven in the heart is the heaven above.
Only when your heart becomes heaven does your physical body also become heaven.
Wherever you go in this earthly world, your heart must be at peace for it to be heaven.
How wonderful it is that you live your lives of faith in accordance with this time period.
◯ God watches over everyone in this earthly world, from those in the womb to all who breathe. If people were simply left alone after being born, no one would live out their allotted lifespan.
However, for those who do not ask, He does no more than the basics for them.
It is difficult for them because they must realize and act on their own.
Read Matthew 7:7 so that you may realize.
(Matthew 7:7) “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.”
When earnestly asking, you must ask the one that pertains to the request.
◯ God does not deal with people without conditions.
He lets you realize the answers to problems and to life through experiencing things in your daily life. This is because only then will you acknowledge them for yourself.
◯ Each person must set and fulfill conditions before God.
Only then will He use you greatly.
Although God has predestined everything to be good, things turn out well only when the people of the time period and each individual do well.
Misfortune or blessing depends on your understanding and how you fulfill your own responsibility.
◯ In order to prevent fire, which is so frightening, you must arrange things so that a fire cannot start— so that it is altogether impossible for a fire to occur. Only then will a fire not occur.
Homes, companies, and areas where fires do not occur remain free from fires because they are designed to prevent them, making it impossible for a fire to start at all.
◯ The same applies to you.
The same applies to fires in your faith.
If things are made perfectly from the outset so that every crime is impossible, problems will not arise for both individuals and nations.
◯ God has made everything that pertains to Him complete and perfect.
To give an analogy, creation has been made so that an ant cannot devour an elephant— so that it is altogether impossible for an ant to devour an elephant.
In this way, God has made things perfect.
Therefore, Satan, devils, and evil spirits cannot invade heaven.
He has made it perfect.
◯ A forest fire once broke out in Wolmyeongdong, too. Afterward, we removed the weeds in the central area to prevent a fire from starting at all.
Weeds can also become compost, but if you think only about that, they may cause a fire.
Compost can be made separately.
The same applies to individuals.
You must sacrifice one thing to make another thing complete.
◯ You must make it impossible from the outset for Satan and evil to invade.
Both individuals and churches alike must do this.
If you live with everything made thoroughly complete, accidents become impossible.
You must live with things arranged so that accidents are absolutely impossible for both the spirit and the body.
A single word of God’s truth is used to resolve a thousand matters.
You must make it so that it is completely impossible for a fire to break out even in your home or its surroundings.
◎ If you build an entire house but do not install the final door, it is not completely built and cannot be used properly as a house.
Likewise, whether small or great, your faith must be completely built. Only then will it be used properly and comfortably.
Everyone must become fully-built faiths by taking action to the end.
◯ God moves and deals with politics, religion, and individuals according to the development of a time period.
However, even when the atmosphere of the time period is favorable, only if you call upon God will He treat you according to that atmosphere.
If you live absorbed in your own heart and the atmosphere by yourself, it ends with you.
You must always be together with the Lord.
It is always the Lord God and the Holy Spirit.
◯ You must not become a believer who merely believes.
This is the thousand-year history whose level has risen in accordance with the time period.
It is a faith in which you live as a counterpart of love, attending God, serving Him, putting Him first, and loving Him, while working together with Him on the work of His purpose.
◯ Even when people say they believe in God, most people just receive salvation and live as believers. They say, “I, too, am a Christian. I believe in God and Jesus.”
That faith is the faith of the old time period, a faith at the level of children.
◯ In Jesus’ time, too, those who followed the Law boasted, “You say you believe in Jesus, but we are disciples of the famous Moses. You did not know that, did you?”
Hearing this, Jesus scoffed, and His disciples also said, “How absurd! We are disciples of Jesus the Messiah, the one like Moses whom you are waiting for!”
◯ It is the same for everyone in this time period.
We walk this path, saying, “Are you waiting for Jesus? Are you children? We have welcomed Jesus and live together with Him as His brides. We hear and put into practice the new Word that God, the Holy Spirit, the Holy Son, and Jesus have given through the one They sent— the Word you are waiting for. By doing so, we have gained it and live as brides.”
◯ Now is the time period that fulfills God’s purpose of creation.
It is the time period in which we live together with God as brides of faith and counterparts of love, discussing each thing with God, the Holy Spirit, and the Lord,
and living together with our shimjeong and hearts in harmony.
You must live your life of faith in accordance with the time period.
Why do you not know how to discern the times?
You live at the level of salvation that corresponds to your actions.
This history is not one you fulfill with words alone.
What you put into practice becomes a reality.
◯ You must live a meticulous life of faith, attending carefully even to things as small as fine dust.
Even a written character will not look like that character if you leave out a single dot.
The same is true for our actions.
If you do everything you should do but leave out one thing, it is exactly like leaving a single dot out of a character. Then people cannot tell what character it is.
The same applies to work.
If you leave out the final thing, the work will not be fully completed.
You must do everything to the very end.
◯ Even if all the thousands of components of an object or machine have been assembled and completed, if even one part does not function, the whole cannot function or operate properly.
When dressing, if you leave even one button unfastened or one zipper open, everyone notices and points it out.
If even one feature of the face—the eyes, nose, mouth, or ears—is missing, a person is regarded as having a disability.
◯ Faith is the same.
If even one thing is lacking in your faith before God, God regards you as having a disability.
Just as ornamental rocks and landforms take on distinct shapes and forms, when people equip themselves in every way, they are beautiful in faith.
◯ Faith means discarding inconsistencies and equipping yourself with goodness by acting in love for God and the Holy Spirit.
Wolmyeongdong, too, became an ideal world through discarding and equipping.
You must do the same.
He chooses you when you are equipped, and once He has chosen you, He tells you to equip yourself further.
God has worked like this all along.
When the body equips itself through action, the soul and the spirit also become equipped.
God said that we had equipped ourselves with the great things but not the small things, and told us, “Practice ultrafine-dust faith.”
◯ You must properly do what is yours to do, yourself, to the very end.
You know what you need to equip yourself with.
And your work is done best by you.
Day and night, you move as the owner of your own body. So, if you do it, it can be done.
◯ If you are willing, you will immediately begin ‘discarding and equipping.’
SS and campus members are quicker to act, so they do it quickly.
Young people are flexible in body and mind, and their habits have been established for less time than those of older people. So, they can readily correct bad habits and tendencies.
◯ When you renovate your home and garden to make them fresh and beautiful and show them to others, you are pleased, and others are pleased as well.
Likewise, everyone is pleased when you improve your faith and your life and then proclaim them.
If you proclaim them without making improvements, those who know will hear and point it out.
They will trumpet the fact that your words and actions do not match.
◎ I will conclude today’s message here.
I pray that the love of God and the Holy Spirit, and Their grace and peace, will be with you.
