Living with the Holy Spirit and the Lord
within God until the End Is Victory
Main Scriptures :
Revelation 6:2 “I looked, and there before me was a white horse! Its rider held a bow, and he was given a crown, and he rode out as a conqueror bent on conquest.*” (NIV)
{Translation note: KJB and many other versions are closer to the Korean version, “…and he went forth conquering, and to conquer…”}
Hallelujah!
Today, I will deliver a special message with the theme,
“Living with the Holy Spirit and the Lord within God until the end is victory.*”
{Translation note: Literally, “winning”}
◎ This world is a world of relational opposites. The world of good and the world of evil exist as relational opposite realms. There is a relatively more evil side like Cain, and a relatively more good side like Abel. It is the same for individuals, nations, and the world.
◯ If each of you turns the evil of the person you engage with into good, that individual will also become good and stand on the side of good with you. However, if you do not turn their evil into good,* you will have to live fighting and struggling against each other as before.
{Translation note: Literally, “If you do not do so…”}
Therefore, God says, “Listen to the Word and make yourself good and live.” Only if you listen to and act upon the Word of the Almighty God through the savior will you be saved from evil and live belonging to good.
◯ Sometimes [a] wicked [person] breaks free from evil on their own and becomes good. However, living being good on one’s own simply means living with a good heart in one’s own way while belonging to the side of good in the world.
You must believe in God through the savior sent by the Omniscient, Omnipotent, and Eternal God,
and you must live every day as his body within the Holy Spirit,
fulfilling God’s Will and purpose.
Only then will you become a perfect person of goodness; therefore, your physical body will prosper, and your spirit will go to Heaven that belongs to the Eternal God and live [there] forever.
◯ There is only one entity of true goodness. Just as a wild grape vine must be grafted with a true grape vine to become one with it, it is only through him that you become one with God. By keeping and practicing the Word of God and the Holy Spirit [that comes] through him, you become grafted with God, and therefore transform into someone who is good, who is united with God.
◯ The good are governed by God, who is good, in the world of goodness. As for the evil, [He] governs them in the world of evil. “Evil” refers to Satan and the wicked people of the world. The whole world, the physical world and the spiritual world, the good, and the evil are all governed by the Almighty, All-knowing God according to their deeds, whether good or evil. He renders judgment and bestows blessings as well.
◯ God said,
“You must become one with Me and know how to govern over yourself. Live diligently, doing righteous deeds within the Lord.”
You must make yourself with the Word. You should make various things of your environment and the world of your [daily] life good. Every day, you should make your spirit, soul, and heart shine, and live being used by God in a precious way.
Additionally, through the one God sent, you should learn the grand, vast, and eternal purpose of God, and fulfill it with joy. Once you have fulfilled it, you should make it your hope to fulfill it on an even grander scale, and live your life fulfilling it every day. After [the life of] the body, this life will be continuously lived by the spirit.
◎ Every [righteous] person goes through difficulties and suffering
as much as they fulfill their hope living according to God’s Will in the world. That suffering comes as though they were receiving judgment for sin. So people even curse them, saying, “Those people are undergoing fiery suffering because of sin.” However, they are suffering for the sake of fulfilling God’s will. They are walking the path of eternal life within God.
◯ Those who have completely reached God’s Will and purpose—enduring suffering, tribulations, and all kinds of hardships—live fulfilling an ideal world.
Those who slandered and accusingly questioned [the righteous] will later look up to them and realize, “They were going through temporary suffering in order to achieve their purpose.” They will admit, “God was using them. Without knowing that, I wickedly slandered and mocked them. I lived an empty life, being judged.” Everything will be brought to light in this way.
◯ Jesus poured out His shimjeong, saying, “Who could have known that I, as the righteous one of that era, was walking the path to [my] death, suffering and even carrying the cross, to save sinners?”
[The chosen one] does not just become the Savior, the Messiah, and the Deliverer. He must live a life of actually saving lives. He must pull out those who are burning in the fire and rescue those who are being swept away by the water. He must live among them every day in reality.
◯ In this way, the savior must pull out his people from sin. He must pray for the sick and revive them. He must give the Word to those who have sinned, and forgive them if they repent.
- A judge must carry out the exhausting work of judging cases every day in order to be a magistrate and a judge.
- National athletes must go through various grueling workouts every day, including running dozens of kilometers on their training courses.”
- To become a parent, a person has to give birth to a child and live an exhausting life feeding, clothing, and looking after their child every day. Only then can they become that child’s parent.
But those who do not consider [these responsibilities] but only engage in love for the joy and pleasure of it become pregnant, give birth, raise their children, and then–because raising children is so difficult–abandon or kill their children. Don’t they report this on TV news?
◯ No matter who it is—whether it is a president, chairman, politician, athlete, or anyone else, each person undergoes suffering, struggles, and even hellish pain in order to exist. Seeing this, people often say, “That person has been trying to live well and fulfill their hope, but it seems that they will die before fulfilling that hope.”
◯ Even just trying to live fulfilling your existence every day is exhausting. It is pain. Sometimes you suffer injustice, too. Yet, if you only try to live comfortably by lying down and doing nothing, then you will gradually become weak, become ill, and die. Therefore, it is better to suffer while working toward your hope.
◯ Suffering follows even when a human fulfills a single personal purpose, so how much [more] suffering would the one sent by God undergo to fulfill the Will of God on this earth?
Since birth, Jesus was refined, undergoing intense suffering until he was 30 years old, and then he started the history of salvation. However, the people of the old era viewed him as a heretic, slandered him—calling him crazy—and inflicted all kinds of pain and suffering upon him. Yet, even while being pursued, Jesus carried out the history of the gospel with his life on the line for three years. Ultimately, three years after starting the history [of the era], he bore the cross and passed away.
◯ In every era, people must be grafted with God through the one sent by God and stand on the side of good. Otherwise, they will simply endure the suffering of their own lives and then go to the world of evil. They cannot escape it on their own. That is why, because of the suffering of their own life, they grab even the righteous and drag them into the water like water ghosts.* God said, “Know the Word properly, fulfill your own responsibility according to the Word, and live being strong.”
{Translation note: Water ghosts are described in Korean folklore as pulling people into water to kill them.}
◯ You must quickly pray and run so that God, the Holy Spirit, the Holy Son, and the Lord will not be disappointed and give up [on you] when they look at you and see your deeds. Even if you plop down,* you must get back on [your] feet, and after you stand up, must not give up again.
{Translation note: Literally “sitting down.”}
◯ People give up, saying their hope is not fulfilled because God, the Holy Spirit, the Holy Son, and the Lord do not help them. You yourselves must study and take action, too. People give up because they fail to do what they ought to do in their daily lives, so [their] hope falls farther from fulfillment little by little in their lives.
Write down what you do in a day and take a look at it. You will see it clearly. Things were not fulfilled because you did not do what you needed to do. Did they fail because God did not do what He was supposed to do for you? It is the principle of relationality. Only when you do it as the counterpart will God, the Holy Spirit, the Holy Son, and the Lord also do it, resulting in fulfillment.
◯ The side of Heaven alone cannot achieve it. You are like an egg. It is only when you take action that the Living Entity that is like a sperm—the side of Heaven—also takes action. Consequently, a history of life is fulfilled. Therefore, God’s work alone cannot achieve it. You yourselves must surely do the necessary work. Only then will the spirit move through the body. If you take action vigorously, God, the Holy Spirit, the Holy Son, and the Lord also take action vigorously. If you do not act, They will not act either. They will only do the basics because it is Their responsibility, but They will not do the rest for you.
◯ God and the Holy Spirit are both speaking to you right now. They say, “Your physical body must act for [your] spirit and soul to act as well. Your soul and spirit cannot act even if they are asked, ‘Bring that object.’ If your physical body acts, however, [your soul and spirit] act together through your body.”
Even if the spirit and soul act [alone], if the body does not act, things of the body do not come true; therefore, there is no fulfillment. Also, if the body acts alone, the things of the spirit do not come true. Only when [the body] work with the soul and spirit will you act seeing the spiritual world [and] the soul world through them. This is a heavenly law.
◯ Similarly, I, Seonsang, cannot do the outside work since I am alone here. You cannot do the work of Heaven on your own either. We must do it together. This is the principle of counterpart interdependency.* [Doing it together] is a life lived by the law of reason.** Only if you act this way will you succeed. You will gain victory. If you dribble a ball by yourself, it still remains within your own domain. Only if two work [together] do they form mutual connection.*** Only then can you give and take even from a distance. Only then will you perform* like the Earth rotating on its axis and revolving around the sun.
{Translation note: * Alternatively, “relationality”/ ** Literally, “a life of the law of reason” / *** Alternatively, “relationality” / **** Literally, “do”}
◎ This is the Word of the Holy Spirit. “While [trying to] save a life that is being swept away by the water, some suffer themselves or even die. Everyone, let us throw a rope to them and have them come out by holding onto [the rope]. Let us carry out salvation by pulling [lives] out with a rope.”
◯ When you get close to a person who is drowning and try to grab them and save them, they grab you, the rescuer, by the neck and throw their arms around your neck. As a result, you sink into the water with them, swallow water, and lose your senses. Those watching are unable to tell which person is drowning, and perceive things the other way around and judge and treat [you] erroneously. God becomes angered seeing this. Only God renders fair and righteous judgment.
◯ When people are saved from drowning, [some] regard the rescuer as an enemy. Anyone who accuses their savior of their own sin cannot receive salvation. They can receive salvation only if they believe in him and follow him no matter the circumstances. Those who treated Jesus the Savior as a sinner did not believe the Word he delivered; therefore, they could not receive salvation. The one who saves you when you are drowning is the cord of salvation, the rope, the life jacket, and the rescue boat. I tell you, therefore, if you cast these away, you cannot receive salvation.
◯ In every era, God has made the righteous person bear the sins of his era. And to those who believed in him, God has opened the way of salvation. He has carried out the history of life by enabling them to avoid death in this way. The Holy Spirit said, “If you know this and practice it, you will live receiving blessings. God is always with him.”
◯ If you do not do what you must do but seek a comfortable life of faith, [your condition] will become like a sandy beach where the water dries up. Even if you have to go through hardships right now, you must take action enduring the suffering and pain. Only then will you live together with God as an owner in the great thousand-year history. You will fulfill the Will and succeed and live comfortably on earth, and in Heaven as well, you will receive Heaven as an inheritance and live comfortably.
◯ Those who lived comfortably in the past while others suffered and did the work, what have they accomplished? Those who took action despite suffering now live in a different world. If you carry out the purpose even though you face hardship and suffering, that suffering becomes hope and blessing. Therefore, you will forget the pain and move forward.
◯ If you habitually avoid taking action, you cannot wage the spiritual warfare of saving eternal lives. God said, “Do not be afraid, but take action boldly for yourself, for Providence, and for Me, God, and the Holy Spirit. Then I, God, and the Holy Spirit will protect you just as We protected Seonsang’s life in Vietnam.”
The greatest help in war is keeping you from dying. The one whom God helps gains victory. Ultimately, God destroys evil. God helps the righteous to fulfill His history.
◯ In a war zone, there is the front line and the rear. Since I, Seonsang, fight at the forefront, all of you are fighting the good fight together following me. If you do that, all of [us] will win. God is with us.
◯ When you experience difficulties and war, you become more refined and stronger. A person who has experienced such things knows [what it is like], so they are bold. I, Seonsang, am like that.
Those who have learned martial arts are strong in the heart as well. Those who have not learned are afraid. God made me have firsthand experiences of war in reality, and then had me wage the spiritual war against evil in the history of Providence.
◯ Evil is destined to be defeated, so [the wicked] will be defeated and go to Death. As for the righteous, they have maintained their best behavior while fighting against evil, so they have transformed to become even more righteous. God has enabled Providence not only to escape death but also to become even better through tribulation. He has enabled you to escape a life of negligence.
◯ You said, in the past, you would work hard if you escaped suffering. However, because you have become negligent and do not act with all your hearts again, God becomes angry. You must do it with all your heart.
Most people are like that. They prayed to God in the past saying, “If You resolve this problem for me, I will do well,” or “If You help me break free from this, I will work really zealously,” but 80% [of them] do not keep their promises and act the same way as before. God no longer trusts them, and He rarely releases [them].
◯ People pray and live righteously according to God’s Will only if they go through suffering and pain. If they are comfortable, they fall asleep in the valley of Death and become prey for wild beasts. Only when cold winds and blizzards blow do they shiver and stay awake. If you are awake like this and run, then you can destroy the enemy.
◯ Spring comes only when winter passes. Even if you beg winter to go away or beg spring to come quickly, winter does not pass quickly, nor does spring come quickly. They come and go in their proper time. However, if you beg and plead, you may be allowed to stay in a warm room for a short moment.
◯ On the battlefield of Vietnam in the past, I, Seonsang, prayed so desperately, “Please let me return home,” but God did not let me return home from the war. This was because I, Seonsang, the model figure of the era, had to set the conditions so that God could carry out a history of peace. Therefore, even after engaging in hellish suffering in the war and coming back home, God made me go back to that battlefield. When I set all the conditions, the war finally ended in peace.
◯ When the appointed time for a purpose ends, even if you want to stay longer, you cannot remain even one [more] day. God is the God of time.
◯ Even after returning from Vietnam, I underwent all kinds of suffering while building a house. Furthermore, I suffered while praying in the mountains and going around evangelizing to save people. Besides, I suffered all kinds of pain in order to build a temple for Seongmak Church. While trying to earn money for the construction of the temple, I went through the hellish suffering of being swindled. Still, I set a condition of fasting for 70 days while praying. Since I was alive and had not died despite all that, I continued to take action.
◯ Now, even while carrying out the public history,* I underwent hellish suffering because I had nothing to eat and no home. Nonetheless, I have carried out the new history. In this way, I have made the history that God, the Holy Spirit, the Holy Son, and Jesus carry out. This is the way I am making the thousand-year history of Providence. I am carrying it out without a day of comfort.
{Translation note: As opposed to 사적 역사 (private history), which is private life.}
◯ If the driver is comfortable, they will doze off while transporting all the passengers in the back and cause the vehicle to tumble down a cliff, killing everyone. Even if it means hardship, [we] must take the path of life. Because we go through hardship, we are tense, so we do not doze in our lives of faith. Through tribulation, we come to fulfill God’s will in an even greater way.
◯ Each of you must carry your own cross and press onward on the path of your own salvation. I, Seonsang, speak as the Man of Mission: “The suffering you have gone through is not even comparable to mine. The suffering you have gone through is not even comparable to the glory of the future. So let us remain strong and run zealously.”
◎ Today as well, I received the Word by struggling from the predawn. Today I have delivered the Word of shimjeong with this core message: “Take action with the Holy Spirit and the Lord within God until the end, following the one who triumphs every tribulation, [the one who is on] the side of good.”
◯ Whether it is a friend or a lover, if you continue to treat them with the same love and affection you had in the beginning, without changing, then that love will continue to grow to higher levels, becoming a grand tree and becoming majestic and marvelous like the rock landscaping created in Wolmyeongdong. As long as you yourself do not change after you loved in the beginning, you will continue to live with him in oneness. As time goes, [your love] will become increasingly beautiful and majestic, reaching all the way to Heaven.
◯ Now I will conclude the message here, and pray some more.
I bid you the peace of the Holy Spirit’s love.
{Translation notes}
- Grafting: One day, R explained and said Apostle Paul did not know about “grafting.” The original tree is the wild one with its roots in the ground. The cultivated branch is added onto the wild one. R said, “So, while the root is strong, the tree will bear ‘cultivated fruit’ since the fruit is produced from the grafted cultivated branch.” So strictly speaking, grafting is not done ‘onto the true vine,’ but the position is reversed. Therefore, translation is done using “with,” not “onto.”
- 상대성 :
상대성 consists of two words, 상대 and 성(nature). 상대 has three different meanings.
<Meaning of 상대>
Meaning 1
서로 마주 대하는 대상: counterparts facing or interacting with each other
Meaning 2
겨루는 대상: opponents who compete each other
Meaning 3
다른 것과 비교하여 성립하는 상태: a state where one thing is established through comparison with something else
<About Meaning 3>
Typically, 상대성 is translated in the secular world and academics as “relativity.” But in God’s Word of Providence, even though it is correct translation ‘by letter,’ it is incorrect for the meaning.
Other related words are either positive (like counterpart) or negative (like opponent). So “relationality” seems to be the right neutral word.
“Relativity” doesn’t seem to convey the spiritual concept correctly.
(Explanation from online search)
The core difference is that relationality is about the existence of a connection or bond between things, while relativity is about how the value, measurement, or meaning of something shifts based on what it is compared to.
Q: If God does not grant a blessing because a person does not do their responsibility, since God rewards according to one’s deeds, do you say relativity or relationality to describe these dynamics?
(AI response, as reference)
To describe this theological situation, you would say relationality.
Here is why relationality fits perfectly, while relativity does not:
Why “Relationality” is Correct: In theology, relationality describes a dynamic, two-way relationship between God and humanity where actions have mutual consequences.
- Covenant and Partnership: It highlights that God does not operate as a distant, arbitrary machine. Instead, God enters into a covenant (a relational contract) with people. God provides blessings, but humans carry the responsibility to act faithfully.
- Mutual Impact: In open and relational theology, human choices genuinely affect the outcome of divine blessings. When God responds to your deeds, it shows that your relationship with Him is active and participatory.
Why “Relativity” is Incorrect
Using the term relativity in this scenario introduces a completely different meaning that contradicts the concept of a just God.
- Moral Relativism: In a philosophical or theological sense, relativism implies that truth, right, and wrong are subjective and change depending on the person or culture. If God’s blessings were based on relativity, it would mean God has no fixed standard of justice or responsibility, and his rewards are arbitrary.
- Physics: In a scientific sense, relativity refers to Einstein’s theories of space and time, which does not apply to a moral framework of deeds and rewards.
By choosing relationality, you emphasize that God’s rewards are tied to a steady, objective standard of mutual responsibility and relationship.
