2026 Story of the Holy Spirit 129

The Holy Spirit said, “When people work, they do it *halfheartedly as if digging the ground with an awl.”
How could you ever accomplish something great that way? It will not work.
No one can succeed by working superficially.
(*Translator’s note: According to the dictionary, 깔짝거리다 is defined as: (1) to repeatedly scratch something with one’s finger or a sharp object, or to gnaw at something; and (2) to make a feeble or lame attempt. In the story letter, halfheartedly, superficially, and/or insufficiently have been used to convey its meaning according to the context.)

Even in the beginning at Wolmyeongdong, we worked insufficiently with pickaxes and shovels.
How could anything big result from that?
Several people carried and stacked rocks, working insufficiently.
Doing it this way would never get the work done.
So God measured and told us to tie a rope from the persimmon tree on the front hill to the persimmon tree beside the current pond, and told us to cut out the front completely.
He said, “Do it exactly as I measure it out. Do not do it superficially or insufficiently.”
So we did exactly as He said.

At predawn, God said, “Everyone must not do things halfheartedly. Deliver this to them.”

In a vision at predawn, I saw a woman lying down, only blinking her eyes and superficially wiping her face.
[God] showed this to say, “You must not do that. Bathe thoroughly to be clean and then pray.”
It meant, “Washing only your hands and feet will not do. Spend an hour bathing and washing, adorn yourself cleanly, and then pray.”

Like this, whether you are a head leader, administrator, preacher, lecturer, evangelist, witness, or someone who explains, if you do it halfheartedly, nothing will ever work out.
He said this is a revelation so deliver it to everyone.
You are all people of history who are carrying out [God’s] great work. So why do you only do it halfheartedly?

He said, “Even when moving [from place to place], move, run, and dash quickly.”
He also said, “As someone traveling on a thousand-ri path, running is not even enough. Yet, are you moving as though you are sitting down or mopping a room? You must ride in a car and run.”
Even though the thousand-year history has been given to you all in the history of Providence, there is not much time left for you.
The rest [of the path] is for your descendants to travel.

Both the Holy Spirit and God spoke sternly, “Do not do things halfheartedly.”
They said, “Boldly and courageously, like David, Joshua, Moses, and Jesus, run and fly ferociously. Act with Seonsaeng’s mentality.”

There are many leaders who do things halfheartedly and insufficiently, so even when their followers want to soar, they cannot.

Study diligently. Run and dash.
Are you doing the work that you should do with your whole body in a superficial way only with your fingers?
Jesus said to do it with all your heart, will, and life.
He said this while putting it into action himself.
I, Seonsang, love this message the most, and I am carrying it out exactly as he said.
You should do the same.
From predawn until late at night, let’s run and dash and completely melt away and eliminate the “philosophy of halfhearted effort.”
Only those who take action will eliminate it.

Listen to the live-broadcast message.
You saw it on TV, right?
All those who did things superficially were caught.
Look at the nation and the world.
Nations dealt with one another superficially, and when the problems were not resolved, they began fighting again, isn’t that so?
Because they acted while considering only one thing, problems arose elsewhere, and now aren’t they all being imprisoned or imprisoning others?
God said, “Do not do things halfheartedly. You must act boldly and courageously like Me, God.”

May you be filled abundantly with peace.
Good job for working hard.
During the summer retreat as well, let’s run, dash, and take action.

I bid you the peace of the almighty and all-knowing God, the Holy Spirit, and the Holy Son.
Good bye.
