<육의 때, 마음 때>
<Grime of the Body, Grime of the Heart>

그렇게도 깨끗하게 씻고 닦아도
며칠을 못 가서
또 때가 온 살을 뒤덮었다
땀구멍마다 다 솟아나니
수십만 개 때 덩어리다
사람 육이 먹고 마시니
노폐물이 솟아난다
Even though I washed and scrubbed myself clean,
Within just a few days,
Grime covered my whole body again.
Since it rises out from every sweat pore,
There are tens of thousands of clumps of grime.
Since the human body eats and drinks,
Waste products emerge.

인생들도 살아가면서
씻어야 될 마음, 생각, 행동이
그리 많고 많다
종교에서는 죄라고 한다
더러움이라고 한다
As human beings live their lives,
There are so many things
In their hearts, thoughts, and actions
That must be cleansed.
In religion, these things are called sins.
They are called dirtiness.

때 씻듯이
마음, 생각, 행위의 때도 씻어야지
안 씻으면 못 견딘다
회개하고 씻어 없애
깨끗이 하라
그러면 빛이 난다
Just as you wash away the grime,
You must also wash away
The grime of the heart, thoughts, and deeds.
Without washing them away, you will not be able to endure it.
Repent and wash them away,
And become clean.
Then you will shine.
