모든 이치는 공통성이다.
하나를 배우면 이를 통해서
백 가지, 만 가지를 깨닫는다.
지구 세상의 존재, 사람과 만물에 대하여
기본은 깨닫는다.
기본은 공통성이다.
다만, 존재 따라, 모양과 형태 따라 내용이 다를 뿐이다.
Universal principles share a commonality.
If you learn one thing, you can realize a hundred things, ten thousand things through that one thing.
You can realize the basics about the existence of the earthly world and about people and all creation.
The basics share a commonality.
What is different is merely its content according to its existence, shape, and form.

비유를 들면,
남자나 여자 각각 하나의 모양 형상을 알면
지구 세상 남자와 여자의 모든 모양 형체를 개성대로 다 안다.
한 가지 운동을 잘하면
운동 신경이 발달돼서 다른 운동도 잘한다.
하나의 글을 잘 쓰면 각종 글도 잘 쓴다.
하나의 강연을 잘하면 각종 강연도 잘한다.
그림 하나 잘 그리면 감각을 아니 딴 그림도 잘 그린다.
선인과 악인에 대해 배우면 모양 형상이 달라도 모두 기본은 안다.
별 한 개를 배우면 별들 세계에는 식물이 없다는 것을 안다.
돌 하나 배우면 돌에 대한 원리를 안다.

To [explain] in parables,
Whether it is a man or a woman, if you know about each of their shape and form, you will know all the shapes and forms of men and women in the earthly world, each with their own individuality.
If you are good at one sport, your motor skills will be developed, and so you will become good at other sports, too.
If you are good at writing one kind of text, you will be good at writing various kinds of texts, too.
If you are good at giving one lecture, you will be good at giving various other lectures, too.
If you are good at drawing one picture, since you have a sense for it, you will be good at drawing other pictures, too.
If you learn about the righteous and the wicked, even if their shapes and forms are different, you will know about the basics [to discern].
If you learn about one star, you will know that there is no plant [life] in the world of stars.
If you learn about one rock, you will know the fundamental principle of rocks.

공통성이다.
한 개를 온전히 배우면
그 세계의 기초, 근본, 개성을 다 안다.
사람도, 만물도, 그 마음과 행함도 그러하다.
하나님의 것 한 가지를 깨달으면
지구 세상 80억 개를 깨닫는다.
It is about commonality.
If you learn about one thing completely, you will know all the foundation, the essence, and the individuality of that world.
The same is true with people, with all creation, and with their hearts and deeds.
If you realize one thing of God’s, you will realize 8 billion things of the earthly world.
