1. You Must Uphold the Authority of God and the Authority of the Lord to Overcome Tribulation

2. The Blessing of the One Who Overcomes, Seen through the Faith of Job, Who Overcame Tribulation

Main Scriptures :
<Matthew 24:12-13> “Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold, but the one who stands firm to the end will be saved.”
<Revelation 3:7-12> “To the angel of the church in Philadelphia write: These are the words of him who is holy and true, who holds the key of David. What he opens no one can shut, and what he shuts no one can open. I know your deeds. See, I have placed before you an open door that no one can shut. I know that you have little strength, yet you have kept my word and have not denied my name. I will make those who are of the synagogue of Satan, who claim to be Jews though they are not, but are liars—I will make them come and fall down at your feet and acknowledge that I have loved you. Since you have kept my command to endure patiently, I will also keep you from the hour of trial that is going to come on the whole world to test the inhabitants of the earth. I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take your crown. The one who is victorious I will make a pillar in the temple of my God. Never again will they leave it. I will write on them the name of my God and the name of the city of my God, the new Jerusalem, which is coming down out of heaven from my God, and I will also have to write on them my new name.”

Hallelujah!

On the Lord’s Day this week, I delivered the Word with the themes:
first, a successful life,
and second, those who fight alongside me will win.

Today, I will speak with these themes:
“First, you must uphold the authority of God and the authority of the Lord to overcome tribulation. Second, the blessing of the one who overcomes, seen through the faith of Job, who overcame tribulation.”
I pray that through this message, everyone will overcome and be victorious.

◎ To save all humanity, God sent the Lord and gave the Word of the gospel. However, even though [Heaven] has entreated them to believe in God in this way, people are unwilling to believe in Him; therefore, not everyone can be saved.

◯ God enables people to believe in the Almighty God and have realizations through each person’s conscience,
through the creation God made,
through the Man of Mission He has sent,
and through the Word delivered by him.

Even though they were urged in many different ways to believe in God, they themselves dislike believing; therefore, they cannot be saved forcefully. Even if God is with them, they cannot receive salvation because they dislike God and reject salvation themselves. That is why both their bodies and spirits live in a world where God does not rule. That world is a world where they rule themselves, or Satan and others rule over them.

In that state, if they leave God altogether, they ultimately end up living in the domain of death and Satan. According to the deeds of their bodies and spirits, they will live in the world of demons, devils, and satans. They will live while suffering with weeds, thistles, thorny bushes, snakes, scorpions, pests, wild beasts, satans, and the wicked.

◯ “Salvation” is a life lived while belonging to God’s domain. If people fail to receive this salvation, they are to live in a world of suffering.

God spoke. “Human life ultimately comes down to one of two: the domain of death or the domain of life. If you do not come to the domain of life, it is a world of punishment. Since you cannot save your own spirit, you will live in a sea of fire, a world where sulfur burns,” He said.

Because they completely ruined* their spirit, soul, and body on their own, even if they undergo that great suffering, they will have no salvation for eternity. Their end is confinement in Death. Even if they were saved, such people could no longer be used. It is like a car rolling down a cliff hundreds of meters high and being completely destroyed, making it unrepairable even if taken to a repair shop. It is a total loss, so even if it were repaired, it could not be used. It will be discarded as junk and burned away by fire in the end. Such is the destiny of those who lived as they pleased without believing in the Almighty God during their brief lifetime in the world.
{Translation note: Alternatively, “threw away.”}

◯ Suppose there is someone in the countryside who farms from spring. Another is given fields and rice paddies and told, “You can make a living only if you farm.” But he refuses to farm, saying, “I dislike farming,” and goes around enjoying himself and living as he pleases. The latter will have nothing to eat in the summer, autumn, or winter. Living in rags and starving all the time, he collapses from lack of strength and lives in sickness. He cannot build a house either. He lives on the street like trash. No one helps such a person. This is because, no matter how much he was told to farm, he did not comply but refused to farm. He only went around enjoying himself.

◯ Also, helping him would mean the giver would have to starve themselves, so no one can afford to give him their harvest. Each has only one salvation; a person who has received salvation cannot give their salvation to someone else who has not received salvation. Even for their sibling or lover, they cannot hand over their salvation to someone who failed to receive salvation, even [by going as far as] giving up on the eternal Heaven and going to the Hell of death for them.

Therefore, you must do it on your own. You must live by doing spiritual farming, the farming of faith, before God for the sake of your own body and spirit.

◎ God said, “There are those who come to an end after living enjoying themselves only physically in the world, and there are those who live saving both their bodies and spirits in the world. People live according to their hearts and thoughts; therefore, people turn out just as they have made up their minds.*”
{Translation note: In Korean, it is “마음(heart),” but in English, this verb phrase goes with “mind.”}

◯ Salvation is not achieved by believing in God for a day or two. Salvation is this: living while believing in God throughout your lifetime. Even after believing well for 10, 20, or 30 years, if you suddenly disbelieve [God] or stop believing, you will lose salvation.

There is no such thing as being saved in an instant. If it were something that could be gained in a moment, just a momentary guidance by God or those who believe in God would be enough. Salvation is fulfilled only if your body believes in God for its lifetime and your spirit believes in Him for eternity.

◯ The Holy Spirit said.
“Look at Lucifer, who had been an archangel. Even though he had lived in Heaven, wasn’t he cast out of Heaven because he disobeyed God’s Word? And didn’t he become the Devil and Satan? Anyone who believes in God and the Lord but stops believing will lose their salvation.

“Those who live physically in the world do not live physically for just a day or two either. They live physically throughout their lifetime. Whether living a spiritual life or a physical life, exactly the way you have lived until the end becomes your eternal life.

“God is one. Every person also has one path.
It is either ‘going to death or to life.’
Even when believing in the Lord God and walking the path of life,
it is one of these paths:
Is it the path of the highest level,
or the path of barely receiving salvation,
or the path of failing to receive a proper salvation.

“Even in Providence, those who live just getting by cannot achieve salvation. Anything that is not done properly does not work out. It is the same with faith and salvation.”

◯ Leading a church will not work either unless it is done whole-heartedly.* If not whole-hearted, one cannot [lead a church] going forward. God does not entrust the mission to such people. God tells them instead to zealously practice just their [individual] faith and receive perfect salvation. Those who do the Lord’s work must do it with all their heart. When entrusted with a mission, they must do it with all their heart, will, and life.

◯ No matter who it is, people receive according to their deeds.
God said, “Look at the law of reason regarding all things of the world and the principles of people’s lives.”
Those who travel only by car cannot escape the land;
those who travel only by ship cannot be free from the surface of water until they get off the ship.
Farmers as farmers and merchants as merchants, each person lives belonging to their respective situation until they come out of it.
You live belonging to a certain domain according to your deeds.

◯ Let’s say ten thousand people run a thousand ri. Each is positioned as far as they have run. When everyone paints, too, it turns out only as much as they paint. When they write, it turns out only as much as they write. Whatever it is, it is done only as much as you do. If you don’t do it, it does not come true.

◯ The same is true of believing in God. The spirit changes only as much as the body and spirit have taken action. Therefore, we must take more action and go to a better Heaven, the Golden Heaven that is better.

◯ God says, “It will be done according to your action,” and watches how we act. Those who sow much and do much reap much; those who sow a little and do a little reap a little. This is a heavenly principle that applies to the universe, the earth, all things, and people.

◯ I, Seonsang, realized this from childhood and did what I, myself, needed to do. I did not just look at God or Jesus [and wait]. I realized about human responsibility that if I don’t do what I need to do, I will suffer.
Shattering the incorrect logic of Christianity—”absolute predestination,” I have actualized the history of human responsibility while centered on “relative predestination.”

◯ Even for something that is absolutely predestined, it is fulfilled
only if either God or people actually do it.

The coming of the Messiah Jesus to the world was absolute predestination. Even though it had been absolutely predestined, Jesus could come only when God completed the process* of sending Jesus. Even though God sent Jesus, because the Messiah Jesus was also a human, Jesus too absolutely had to carry out the work of the Messiah. He said, “I, too, sowed and reaped, scattered and gathered.”
{Translation note: Literally, “work”}

(Matt 25:26) “His master replied, ‘You wicked, lazy servant! So you knew that I harvest where I have not sown and gather where I have not scattered?’”

◯ As for me, Seonsang, I have never taken a job at a secular company and received a salary in the world, not even for a month. I only did the work of God. As a result, physically, I continued to suffer from hunger and starvation. Only after passing the age of 40 did I barely resolve the problem of food. The first [priority] was the spiritual thing, and the next was the physical thing. Because I did only God’s work, it could not have been otherwise.

Both my body and spirit were supposed to prosper even if I did only God’s work. However, because the world was wicked and people were unwilling to believe even after hearing the Word of God of the time period, things did not go well. Nevertheless, I, Seonsang, did not focus on physical things. I lived only believing in and serving God, and striving solely for God’s purpose and salvation. I defeated Satan, devils, evil ones, opposers, and slanderers as well. When I did that, God made not only my spirit but also my body prosper.

◯ Just I, Seonsang, have done, each person should set conditions and receive blessings according to their deeds in their life. If help is given to someone who has not set any conditions, they will cause problems.

◯ As things went well, Satan and people began to be envious and jealous. Seeing this, God did not leave them alone. He helped those who did righteous deeds but judged the wicked according to their actions.

As [we] continually carried out God’s history of the new era, people who would receive the salvation of the era have flooded in, but wicked ones also have come. Still, you must press on while overcoming difficulties just as I, Seonsang, have. If you do, you will prosper just as I have.

◯ If you go on the path of salvation, the physical side* grows weak while the spiritual side* grows strong. If you fulfill God’s work first until the appointed time and if the spiritual side* goes well, God enable you to achieve physical things as well.
{Translation note: Literally, 일 may be translated as “work or matter.”}

◯ As for new religions, they lack the Word,
so they center on physical things more.
In the religions and denominations that believed in God but prioritized physical things—especially economic ones,
people’s faith died while only the finance of their bodies grew strong.
With that outcome, they tilted even more to the physical nature.

Look at the many religions in Korea. Whenever a new religion arose, they first united economically to do trading and run businesses. So their bodies thrived. However, their faiths did not go well, so they were wretched.
The spirit was supposed to rule over the body as they did [things], but since they failed at that, they all became physical people. They scattered into commercial religions and denominations, and they were all destroyed. This is because the first [focus] must be [on] spiritual things, not physical things, but they did physical things first. Things will absolutely not work out if you don’t first do what must be done first.

◯ You all may have seen what they did before God and what happened to them. It happened according to their deeds. According to their deeds, they took hold of economic wealth, but on the spiritual side,* they became dead towers of Babel.
{Translation note: Literally, “as for the world of the spirit”}

◯ As for Providence, we first took hold of the world of the spirit first. Since we fulfilled God’s Will for this time period, He granted us to live blessed lives in the world of the body as well.
First is the spiritual side,* and next is the physical side.* Because we do just according to God’s Word, even though we go through tribulations, we are fulfilling God’s thousand-year history in a magnificent and vigorous way.
{Translation note: Literally, “thing(s)”}

◯ First, we must pay attention to eternal things. If you look at the successful people among Providence members who run businesses, those who made their faith firm before running a business received great financial blessings.

◎ During this period of tribulation, there was a member whose finances plummeted to the bottom because of someone who misunderstood him, slandered him, and caused him suffering. He said that in difficulties, both his finances and faith hit rock bottom.

I said [to him], “Even so, go until the end. Absolutely keep your faith until the end. Believe in God and me, and be like Job. Only when you go all the way to the end will God absolutely bless you.”

Therefore, he pressed on while keeping his life of faith firm. When he did that, God blessed him, saying he overcame like Job. So a sign like rain falling on the parched land occurred. He reported that it became lush pastures once again. This is someone to whom Revelation 3:7-12 applies.

◯ The seven churches spoken of in the Book of Revelation are the Word in parables that pertain respectively to the people of Providence. It means each [of you] triumphed in a pertinent way.

Everyone must continue taking action until the end. God looks at your faith. Despite tribulation, you must hold onto God and me, Seonsang, until the end. Only then will you receive the predestined blessings. If you go to the end, God blesses you fully even for the loss you suffered because of the wicked, and He makes you prosper. If you overcome tribulation, evil satans, and human satans, God lets you enter the history of a new world and blesses you even more both in faith and finance.

◯ During the time of tribulation, God and the Holy Spirit personally hold onto you. I, Seonsang, also pray for you more, give you deeper Word, and help your faith firmly. Therefore, you can triumph.

Ultimately, God’s side wins. Every time we brought the opposers to their knees and triumphed, God gave us more blessings than before. This is predestined.

◯ Do you know by what God lets you overcome persecution and tribulation? It is by you relying on God and becoming one with the one God sent. Only then can you overcome. It is praying to God and going until the end while relying on the Holy Spirit. Only then can you overcome. You ought to realize this and put it into practice.

You must fight with hope to win. If you simply leave Providence just because things are difficult, you cannot win. Everyone, you must fight with “the faith that you had in the beginning.” Then, you will triumph.

◯ When you receive blessings by believing in and serving God well, Satan and the wicked envy you and jealously and accusingly question you just as they did to Job. Satans speak even to God in the manner they questioned Job. People, too, question [you] to find faults.

At that time, you must say, “I am not like that,” and by acting on God’s Word, show that you are indeed not as they say, just as Job did. No matter what tribulation you may face, you must not disbelieve in God but show absolute faith.

If you read the Bible, [you will see that] everyone suffered during times of tribulation. I, Seonsang, also went through many tribulations, but I overcame by taking action with single-minded devotion until the end. If we show the authority of the Almighty God with our absolute faith, God blesses us even twice as much as before.

◯ You cannot just receive God’s blessings. Whether an individual, a nation, Providence, or a country, God blesses you only when you have upheld His authority, overcome tribulation, and kept your faith.

In Providence, too, for those who upheld the authority of God, the Holy Spirit, the Holy Son, and Jesus during the tribulation and who did not disbelieve me, Seonsang—those who kept their own authority by keeping their faith in this way—God enabled them to overcome the tribulation through that and blessed them even more than before.

Regarding the loss of lives, too, God had new, better people be evangelized while blessing those we have raised and giving them precious missions to work.
Also, among business owners, for those who firmly upheld my authority and defended [me]* in their respective situations by saying, “That’s not true,” when someone spoke ill of me, God and I certainly blessed them afterward.
In this way, God appoints those who have been faithful during the tribulation and lets them prosper even more than before.
{Translation note: 지키다 does not have an objective. So it could possibly mean “kept it, protected it, or defended [me].”}

◯ Among people, too, when someone speaks ill of the person whom one respects and follows, if one upholds that person’s authority by saying, “He is not like that,” then the defended person will use the advocate preciously and treat them with joy. Only when you acknowledge someone and treat them according to their value do they [also] acknowledge you and treat you with value.

Jesus also said, “Whoever acknowledges me before people, I will also acknowledge them before God. But if they do not, I will disown them as well.”

(Matt 10:32-33) “Whoever acknowledges me before others, I will also acknowledge before my Father in Heaven. But whoever disowns me before others, I will disown before my Father in Heaven.”

◯ This is true not only with people but with animals also. Sheep would like it if you acknowledge their authority as sheep and treat them accordingly. If you ignore the authority of sheep and treat one like a goat, the sheep will treat you roughly. As for goats, even if you treat them like sheep, since they are goats, they will treat you roughly. Therefore, the Holy Spirit said, “Treat goats as goats, and always be careful on your own.”

◯ We must always keep a life of faith that absolutely upholds God’s authority. Only then will we absolutely be on God’s side. The evil and the wicked do not lead normal lives. After living wrongly, they will ultimately be separated from the good and go to live in the world of evil. Therefore, those who live normally, the righteous, must live their own lives, the life of abiding by the Word.

◯ As for evil, God destroys it. This is because only then [can] heaven and the good who believe in God exist. To destroy evil and Satan, God has carried out His divine history* for 6,000 years by giving the Word to the side of goodness and raising them up.
{Translation note: 섭리하다 means God’s loving care and ruling over all things.}

◯ When the wicked did not repent
and did not live with goodness and righteousness
although they were given an opportunity to repent
for harming and tormenting the good,
God judged them in both the physical and spiritual worlds.
God separated those who were rotten from those who were not rotten according to their deeds
and cleaned up.

God judges today, too. He always gives a period of repentance to the wicked, and if they do not repent by that time, He judges them.

◯ The Holy Spirit said, “Know this and act [properly]. Coming from evil to goodness is [taking] the path of salvation. If you cross over, you will escape death and resurrect.”
If they do not [cross over], they will [continue to] live in darkness and end as darkness forever.

Even though I teach you like this, if you do not take action, saying, “It’s hard,” you will gradually go toward Death. Then, you will end up living just like those who used to walk with you but deviated from the light and now live as if living in Death. Once you go to the path of death, you will not see a way to return.

◎ Today, I have given the Word with the following as the core:
“Just as all things happen according to your deeds, salvation is also accomplished according to your actions. Even if there is tribulation, make your belief and faith firm and strong. Uphold the authority of God and the Lord during the tribulation like Job. Only then will you become the victor over tribulation and receive a double portion of blessing.”

I bless in the name of the Trinity that everyone will firmly keep this Word and put it into action and live within God’s love and blessing until the end.
